Amy Diamond and Caracola remixed

Fred’s remix of Amy Diamond’s Takes One To Know One is just finished. A difficult track in 3/4 and low tempo, but hey, that’s a challenge! Also finished is the remix of Caracola’s Smiling In Love, that will be released through Plugged Records/SonyBMG soon.
Amit liked the mix of Judge You, he said it was cool. Another version of the same song is under production.

Remix news March 2008

It’s been a hectic month for us, and it’s not over yet…. At the moment David and Rydan are at the final stage of the Adam Tensta remix. So hopefully we’ll be able to send a couple of mixes to Adam’s label next week.
New projects this week are: Amit Paul – Judge You, from his forthcoming album and Caracola’s (Swedish) Eurovision Song Contest entry Smiling In Love. Also, Fred finished the mix for Caroline Larsson’s Hold On My Heart. A very catchy pop song, originally written by Per Gessle and produced by Peter from Barbados.
Pandora has started to send out Fred’s remix of Don’t You Know to 15000 Djs, radio and media people in the US this week.

Cut & Paste in collaboration with Sevensleeper

Cut&Paste has joined a partnership as a creative resouce for the promotion and management company Sevensleeper www.sevensleeper.se. Sevensleeper will work with Bubbles, that Cut & Paste already are involved in – Fred: writing and producing, David: producing. Other acts in collaboration with Sevensleeper will follow.

Remix news

Fred’s remix of Pandora’s Don’t You Know will be released shortly. Mastering takes place this week. Details to follow. Today, we received material to begin tweaking Adam Tensta’s My Cool.
Due to technical failure all tracks for Maia Hirasawa didn’t reach us, but she said new files are on their way! The same thing actually happened with the Caroline Larsson files as well.
Other mixes in progress this month: John Daniel – Marknaden, and Anders MÃ¥rtensson – Survive.

February 2008 remixes

It’s been a good day in remix-land… Today, I have received material from both Maia Hirasawa and Pandora to play around with! Hopefully, this playing around with the tracks will result in some really cool remixes.
To anyone that planned to visit the annual Manifest awards (Manifestgalan) this Friday: see you there!!!

ADDED Feb 6: Just received material to remix Caroline Larsson, an up and coming indie artist, placed somewhere between rock and pop. Interesting!
