Fred’s Summer Catch-up

Hey! It’s been a while since I posted anything new here, and the reason for this is that I’m quite busy in the studio with Bubbles at the moment. This is why there haven’t been any new remixes posted either. Anyway, we are recording vocals on some of my songs, for Bubbles forthcoming album. So far there are six songs recorded and a few more in the pipeline.

I have also started a new collaboration, this time with Greek lyricist Nektarios Tirakis, who wrote the ESC songs ‘Shake It’ (2004) and ‘Love Me Tonight’ (2005). The future will see what cool music that will come out of this.

Ta panta rhei kai ouden menei.”

Vasa Gospel remixed

Well, you didn’t see that one coming now did you? =)

Rydan’s remix of “This is the day” has just ended up as bonus track on the Vasa Gospel album InNeed, released yesterday.

A new mindxpander song!

Or, well, sort of. Actually, Rydan started playing around a bit with his new toy, the Elektron Monomachine, and well, this is what came out.

monomind.mp3

Everything is one song in the monomachine, using one pattern, recorded in one take, with a hint of master EQ and Compression in cubase. Enjoy! =)

Roxette remixed

After much hard work, I’ve finally finished a coupld of versions of Roxette’s One Wish. Not the easiest song to remix, since Per is clever enough to change key between the 1st and 2nd verses. The results are synth-alternative version, perhaps not a full scale dance production, but definitely different from the original.

Two single releases

There are two new single releases containing material from the Cut & Paste factory: Peter Graae’s Take it Easy (single version), which is shipped to radio this week. Download the single for free, right here: www.petergraae.se.
Also, Belgian electro hunk, Ray Grant release his new single soon:

Deviate will be released on March 26. It will feature remixes by Ray, dVTB and Chuck Dread and two new b-sides.

Remixes added

It’s been quiet from my end of the world for a while, and that’s because I’ve been busy in production. Anyway, some things are finished. The first additions for March is Amit (former A*teens star) and a couple of tweaks of his new single, Stay – Happypop Remix and Chuck Dread Remix.
Amit is also a potential newcomer on this week’s Tracks list. Hope you get the votes needed, man!
The other addition is a remix of former Technologic member Ray Grant’s solo work: Deviate (Chuck Dread Remix).

The tracklist is as follows:

2. Interceptor, yet unreleased
3. Beta Pictoris, from Binary Sky

Enjoy!
