Chuck Dread remix aired on Swedish P3

Today, Swedish national radio P3 played Fred’s remix of Sofia Talvik’s Holding Your Hand. There was also an interview with Sofia and her duet with Bernard Butler was played.

Album release

Today, Sofia Talvik released a remix version of her new album Street Of Dreams, called Street Of Dreamix. Fred (a.k.a. Chuck Dread) is one of the people that got to remix one of the tracks. The producers come from many countries: Sweden, Ã…land (FI), UK, France and Japan. This project shows an interesting way of bringing creative musical people together.

Fred’s first remixes of 2007

It seems like the new year started in the heavier corner of songs with long titles. Two remixes are so far finished: The Chuck Norris Experiment – The Roof Is About To Cave In (Flatrock Remix) and their ‘genremates’ Matadors – 21st Century Monotony Disco (Streetwise Remix). There’s, as always, more in the pipe: two more Gina Jacobi songs, another version of Matador’s 21st Century, at least one international band, Bubbles, and, of course, lots more.

New Rogalsi release

David has spent the last month mixing and mastering the new upcoming Rogalsi album titled “Det alla tror men ingen vet” (translates to “What everybody thinks but no one knows”). The album is scheduled to be released in early spring next year. More info at www.rogalski.se.

You can purchase the “Varandra” EP (translates to “Each Other”) from at CDON.com. The EP was mixed by David and also features a remix of the title track.
