Airplay in Aussie + Sweden

Fred’s remixes of Bubbles‘ You Dog Me Out and Need A Little Sunshine are to be aired at the Australian radio show Jase On RDJ (88.1 2RDJ-FM). Some more remixes might also turn up there. Furthermore, Swedish radio P5 has added Fred’s remix of DoublePark’s O.D. On Space, which also is due to be released on EP any day now, along with another remix, I Don’t Want To Party, as well as the original versions of both songs.

Christina Aguilera remixed

Fred has re-vamped Christina Aguilera’s new single Hurt into a heavier version, containing distorted drums, bass, mellotron, bassoon and floating pads. Christina Aguilera- Hurt (Chuck Dread Remix).

A big welcome to Gina Jacobi!

Cut & Paste, or rather, Fred, has started a collaboration with Gina Jacobi, well known Swedish artist with 10 albums released. For the first time, Gina lets someone else ‘mess’ with her music. The first result of this is the remix of ‘Relations’ from the 2005 album ‘Like Me’. To listen to the track, click here: (Relations – Hidden Reflection Remix). During Autumn and Winter, more remixes and productions are scheduled, none of which that yet can be revealed, but we’ll keep you posted.

Release + mixes!

Some news from the Fred’s corner. He’s just finished 4 remixes for The Chuck Norris Experiment. They will all be released soon. Keep an eye out on www.chucknorrisexperiment.com for tracks to download.

Furthermore, Chuck’s new album Volume! Voltage! har just been released by the Australian label Off The Hip. Fred plays the piano on 4 tracks. Because of this, Fred has a new alias he uses when doing ‘Chucky music’: Chuck Dread

Three demo songs by Stina Rebelius are also done. And last but not least… two remixes for Sophie Rimheden are nearly finished.

Y5 headlining at Himalaya Remedy

Here’s the flyer to Himalaya Remedy where Ypsilon 5 will be headlining:

With supporting acts like Dhamika, Sienis vs Melzanima and Verb, this is a party that will be simply wonderful.
According to the flyer there will also be a chillout, nature temple, a market and more. Vegetarian food will be serverd and there will be chai available.
